Clover Club Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: June 5, 2026

Welcome to Clover Club. We are delighted to have you join us.
Clover Club (“Clover Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by Clover Club Social LLC, provides Mah Jongg classes, coaching, open play, leagues, social gatherings, and related events. By registering for or attending any Clover Club class, event, activity, or program, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Registration & Payment
Advance registration and payment are required for most classes, events, and activities unless otherwise stated.
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment. Space may be limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Clover Club reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations at its discretion.

2. Cancellation & Transfer Policy
Classes and events are refundable up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of class start time are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your seat to a friend.

No-shows are nonrefundable.

If Clover Club cancels a class or event for any reason, participants will receive either:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to transfer registration to a future offering.

Open Tables, Leagues, and Clover Connections are non-refundable.

To help us thoughtfully plan seating and ensure the best experience for all guests, Open Tables reservations are nontransferable and cannot be rescheduled.

For Leagues and Clover Connections, we understand that plans sometimes change and will do our best to accommodate a request to transfer a registration to another player. Transfers are not guaranteed and must be approved by Clover Club in advance. Approval may depend on the amount of notice provided, seating and table arrangements, the substitute player's experience/readiness, and other circumstances that could affect the experience of the group. Clover Club reserves the right to approve or decline any transfer request at its discretion.

3. Late Arrival Policy:
To ensure the best experience for all guests and maintain the flow of instruction, we kindly ask participants to arrive on time. Arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled class start time may significantly disrupt the experience for the group. As a result, guests arriving 15 or more minutes late may be treated as a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund or class credit.

4. Participation & Age Requirements

Clover Club is intended for guests ages 16 and older.
Participants under the age of 18 must have registration completed and consent provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants to help maintain the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that Clover Club strives to create.

5. Accessibility & Stairs Acknowledgment
Clover Club is located on the lower level of the building and is accessible only by stairs (there is a handrail). There is no elevator access.

By registering for or attending a Clover Club activity, you acknowledge and accept this accessibility limitation and agree that participation is voluntary.

Guests are responsible for determining whether the space is appropriate for their individual mobility and accessibility needs.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release
Participation in Clover Club activities is voluntary and may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, physical strain, accidents involving tables, chairs, stairs, personal belongings, food or beverages, or interactions with other guests.
By participating in Clover Club activities, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance and participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Clover Club, Clover Club Social LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, landlords, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from or related to participation in Clover Club activities, attendance at the premises, or use of facilities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

If emergency medical treatment becomes necessary, you authorize emergency personnel to provide care at your own expense.

7. Personal Property, Food & Beverage
Guests are welcome to bring personal food and beverages unless otherwise noted for a specific event.

Guests assume responsibility for any personal food or beverage choices, including allergies, spills, or accidental damage.

Clover Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, including purses, phones, Mah Jongg cards, tiles, jackets, or other belongings brought to the space.
Guests may be held financially responsible for intentional or negligent damage to Clover Club property or facilities.

8. Photography & Video Release
Clover Club may occasionally photograph or record classes, events, and gatherings for use on our website, social media channels, email communications, and other promotional materials.

By registering for or attending a Clover Club class, event, or activity, you acknowledge and consent to photography and video recording and grant Clover Club permission to use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in promotional materials, including social media, website content, email communications, and print materials, without compensation.

If you have concerns about a specific image or video, please contact Clover Club and we will make reasonable efforts to address your request.

For participants under age 18, registration by a parent or legal guardian constitutes consent to photography and video participation.

9. Conduct & Community Expectations
Clover Club is built around hospitality, kindness, and community.
Guests are expected to treat fellow participants, instructors, and staff respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, excessive intoxication, intimidation, repeated inappropriate conduct, or behavior that negatively affects the experience of others will not be tolerated.

Clover Club reserves the right to remove participants from an event or refuse future service without refund if behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the environment Clover Club seeks to maintain.

10. Changes, Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Clover Club reserves the right to modify schedules, instructors, class offerings, locations, or event details as necessary.

In the event of severe weather, illness, facility issues, emergencies, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, Clover Club may reschedule or cancel programming.

Whenever possible, participants will be notified promptly.

11. Website Information & Errors
We strive to ensure that information on our website, schedules, pricing, and descriptions is accurate; however, errors may occasionally occur.

Clover Club reserves the right to correct errors, update information, or modify offerings without prior notice.

12. Privacy & Communications
By registering for a Clover Club class or event, you agree to receive important communications related to your registration, including confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, and policy information.

You may also receive occasional updates regarding future classes, events, or offerings. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Clover Club does not sell personal information to third parties.
